Hot Soup is Not Dead

Lemuel "Hot Soup" Pew is not, as many have theorized, dead. He is very much alive, and still making comics. They are just slightly less frequent then before.

Lethal Doses was, and still is, one of my alltime favorite web comics (up there with Mac Hall). Some months back, Soup redesigned the Lethal Doses web page, and the golden days of LD were lost. I am making this newspost to let anyone who might have abandoned Soup know that his archive is now updated, and the classics are readable again. I just got through rereading the original 99 strips—I had forgotten how timeless some of Soup's gags were.

Hot Soup was also the artist for Winter. Soup and his team long ago abandoned Winter, and its easy to see why: the comic is absolutely beautiful, and the story promised to be amazing. The amount of work Winter required must have been impossible to maintain for free. I love Winter, but I wish upon wish that I could have read it as a printed comic. I am not giving up hope though; my inner optimist truly believes that soon, creating comics will be a perfectly legitimate career.

There's still a long way to go though. I guess I still have work to do.
