After all the shenanigans going on between Congress, Mistah Bush and public service agencies, I feel something needs to be said about it. Bush wants to go to war with Iraq while his own country is starting to financially flounder, Congress spends its time debating moot points, exempting themselves from parking fines and giving themselves raises, the FBI, CIA and INS are squabbling and fingerpointing like children...the list goes on.
Fortunately, some people have made some choice words a while ago that, to a point, sums up what I wanted to say:
"Government is like a big baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other." - Ronald Reagan
"Congress is so strange. A man gets up to speak and says nothing. Nobody listens - and then everybody disagrees." - Boris Marchalov
AND especially this one...
"When I was a boy I was told that anybody could become president; I'm begining to believe it." - Clarence Darrow
